It's OK. I've only had it a few weeks (needed to expand my storage & this was affordable), no problems. -- So far, so good

The price on the Iomega Prestige 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive was too good to pass up. I had a much smaller external drive that was about full so I really needed a new one.

I haven't had much time to work with the new drive but so far everything is working well. It was very easy to install. It has a switch to shut it down when you are not using it. I think this is very important both for security reasons and to keep the drive from needlessly spinning day and night when it isn't even being used.

The only problem that I had was that when I first installed it, the drive didn't show up in "Explore". I didn't do anything about it and two days later it showed up and has since. It was probably a glitch with my "glitchey" computer. -- External Storage

The drive arrived promptly - installed painlessly - and works flawlessly so far. My friend also has one and loves it. Great deal for a 1TB HD! -- Great Product
